Education Resources

THE County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services office makes a variety of educational material available to the public. Printed materials are available by calling 454-5003. Any agency or organization needing large quantities of printed materials (more than 10) should contact one of the following organizations:

National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information provides books, reports, pamphlets, newsletters, posters, videos, etc. in both English and Spanish. Nearly all items are available free of charge and can either be ordered online or through the Publications Catalog which is also free of charge.

California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs also provides books, reports, newsletters, posters, videos in both English and Spanish through The Resource Center. Nearly all items are free of charge and are often similar to those available through the National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information website.

County Video Library

Video Library — The video library contains approximately 90 videos and is being upgraded on a monthly basis. Videos can be signed out for various periods of time depending on the need. Please review the list provided and contact the Prevention Coordinator at 454-5003 to arrange a time to check out a video.
